1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your purchase and use of BASCalc (the “Product”), available at shop.bascalc.com.au.
By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using BASCalc, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the Product.
2. What BASCalc Is (and Is Not)
BASCalc is a digital calculation Excel Template tool designed to help Australian sole traders organise figures for their quarterly Business Activity Statement (BAS).
BASCalc helps you calculate and understand your BAS totals. It does not lodge anything automatically — you review and submit your own figures.
BASCalc is not a substitute for professional taxation, accounting, or financial advice. We do not provide personalised tax advice, and nothing in the Product, website, or guide should be relied upon as such.
Your business circumstances may differ. Always double‑check your figures and speak with your accountant or the ATO if you are unsure.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter into binding agreements to purchase and use BASCalc
.4. Licence and Permitted Use
When you purchase BASCalc, you receive a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, single‑user licence for your own business use.
You may:
- install and use BASCalc for your own BAS preparation
- keep a backup copy for personal use
You may not:
- share, resell, transfer, or distribute the Product or licence key
- make BASCalc available to other businesses
- reproduce, reverse‑engineer, or modify the Product for resale
- use BASCalc to provide paid accounting or BAS preparation services to others
If you require multi‑business or reseller use, please contact us first.
5. Digital Delivery and Access
BASCalc is delivered digitally. After checkout, you will receive access to download the Product and any included
guides.
We may release updates or improvements from time to time. Where practical, updates may be made available to licensed
customers at no additional cost. Availability of updates is not guaranteed.
6. Using BASCalc
You are responsible for entering accurate information into BASCalc and reviewing the results before lodging with the ATO.
BASCalc provides calculated totals based on the data you enter. You remain responsible for:
- the figures you enter
- amounts submitted to the ATO
- complying with ATO rules and deadlines
- seeking professional advice where
appropriate
We make no guarantee that use of BASCalc
will result in any particular tax outcome or financial saving.
7. PAYG Instalments
If PAYG instalments apply to your business, your PAYG figure will normally be visible in your ATO portal or BAS form.
BASCalc allows space to include this where relevant.
If you are unsure whether PAYG applies, please confirm with your accountant or the ATO before lodging.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed through our secure payment provider (such as Stripe).
You agree that all information provided at checkout is true and correct. We reserve the right to change pricing at any
time for new purchases.
9. Refunds
Because BASCalc is a digital product, refunds are not provided once access has been granted and downloaded and activated,

- reliance on calculations produced using BASCalc

Refund Policy
Last updated: November 2025

We always comply with Australian Consumer Law, and we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing.

Due to the nature of instant digital downloads, refunds are generally not provided once the file has been downloaded.
However, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if:
- The file is defective or will not open
- You experience a major technical issue preventing use
- You accidentally purchased multiple copies
If you encounter any technical problems, please contact us at:
We will resolve the issue promptly.
2. Change of Mind
Please choose carefully—change-of-mind refunds are not offered for downloadable products.
Once payment is completed and the file is delivered, the sale is considered final unless the product is faulty under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Incorrect Purchase
If you purchased the wrong version or made a duplicate order, contact us immediately before downloading the file.
If the file has not been accessed, we can cancel and refund the order.
4. Failed Download or Access Issues
If you experience:
- Download failure
- Corrupted file
- Link not received
- Email delivery issues
Please contact us and we will resend the file or provide a working link at no extra cost.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Your purchase is protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

We stand behind BASCalc and will assist with any genuine issues.
